Project Duration: 07/2011-03/2012

Description: Removal of deteriorated concrete and reinforcement and, subsequent replacement and patching. To include: floor joint repair, epoxy crack injection, corrosion –inhibiting treatment, polymer sealers, traffic coatings – yellow stripping.

 

St. Simons Island Lighthouse Restoration

Owner: The City of Brunswick and Glynn County Development Authority

Contract Amount:$297,471.00

Location:4 Glynn Avenue, Brunswick, GA 31520

Project Duration: January–April 2010

Description: Remove and legally dispose of existing lead-based paint coatings at the Lantern Room canopy, window mulls, heads and sills, deck plates, and other areas to be cleaned and repainted in this space. Complete containment and lead paint abatement as per EPA, OSHA, and other regulatory agency requirements. Collect and legally dispose of all removed paint existing paint coatings. Remove and replace eight severely deteriorated main gallery exterior railing posts. New posts shall be cast to replicate existing posts in size, shape, and finish texture. Repair remaining handrail posts.


 

Crooked River Lighthouse Restoration

Owner: City of Carrabelle, Florida

Location:106 South East Avenue B, Carrabelle, FL 32322

Project Duration: August 2007 – January 2008

Description:Historical renovation of lighthouse, including railings, stairways, and exterior painting.
